About the Role:


Our fleet and plant department are seeking an administrator to support the busy equipment hire desk controllers. The principal role of the administrators is to ensure that all the paperwork for the equipment hired is kept up to date and hire sheets are recorded on the system correctly. We have recently introduced a new Hive system in to the department which is a good team project and is easy to follow.


Location: Bamber Bridge, Lancashire

Hours: 40 hours per week, 08.30am-17:00pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £24,720 per annum


Responsibilities – but not limited to:


  • Dealing with extensive Internal & External E-mails which need to be followed up and data collected to be loaded onto the internal database system.
  • On hire administration process of Fleet & Plant within the current systems
  • Off hire process of Fleet & Plant within the current systems Exchange process and updating assets
  • Uploading documents to Syrinx system
  • Helping the hire desk controllers by responding to supplier invoice queries
  • General office support and answering the telephone within the department
  • Updating and arranging calibration/service & loler dates in to the syrinx system


Experience and qualifications required for the role:


  • Previous Administrative experience
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, able to use own initiative.
