Lancashire Constabulary are seeking professional, accountable, and hardworking individuals to join the Safeguarding Team as a Safeguarding Administration Assistant within South CAIT Child Protection Support Team - based at Preston. The roles requires a good understanding and experience in safeguarding, ideally of young children most at risk in the community. The team are responsible for researching, recognising, and compiling information from computer systems which will help safeguard the young people of Lancashire.
Applicants must be competent and able to produce high quality written reports which will be used to represent Lancashire Police at multi-agency meetings and conferences. They will also be responsible for managing and booking meetings for colleagues to attend. They must be able to recognise and redact sensitive information to ensure data breaches do not occur.
The shifts dictate a Monday-Friday commitment, within office hours. Successful applicants will join the Team at Preston Police Station on and work within a busy and highly committed office. They must show a real passion and sense of determination to safeguarding young children most at risk.
Please note, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass RV Vetting.
