Role Profile:

Square Peg Associates is on the lookout for a committed Accounts Assistant to be a part of our client’s top-tier business situated close to Preston. This essential role forms a key component of our client’s finance team and encompasses a diverse range of accounting duties.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger - being the first point of contact for purchase ledger enquiries, setting up new suppliers, ensuring all invoices are checked and entered correctly
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Processing expenses and mileage claims
  • Month end reconciliations
  • Daily bank reconciliations of bank and cash
  • Credit control
  • Ad hoc duties

 

Candidate Profile:
 We are looking for a proactive individual who has experience in all facets of accounts management, preferably as an Accounts Assistant or Administrator. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, confident, and capable of working independently within our small finance team.
