Job Summary
To enable us to engage more actively with our communities, we are looking to recruit an additional staff member, on a part time basis, to the Community Projects team. The team take an asset-based community development approach to supporting individuals and voluntary sector organisations who deliver projects that improve health and wellbeing. Based within a large integrated public health team we work in partnership with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders; particularly those involved in the strategic development and delivery of public health commissioned services; broader partnership working and place-based delivery.
The roles are exciting and varied and involve either managing or supporting community engagement programmes across the public health service and into communities. They will suit people who are passionate about making a difference in communities.
We operate a hybrid model of office and home working based on meeting our service delivery needs.

The community projects officer will be accountable to the Community Projects Manager.
