As an Enterprise Architect, you will:
- Lead the Architecture team, translating the Council’s Technology Strategy into detailed designs and actionable plans.
- Drive a Cloud First approach, delivering efficiencies across infrastructure and services.
- Lead simplification of the Council’s Network and WAN architecture to improve resilience and performance.
- Provide strategic readiness and planning for Local Government Reorganisation (LGR).
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmaps, covering current, future, and transitional states.
- Provide architectural leadership across programmes and projects, ensuring consistency and innovation.
What we're looking for:
- Significant experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives in large or complex organisations.
- Proven ability to shape architecture strategy and deliver efficiencies through optimisation.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning skills.
- Honours degree or equivalent experience, with a professional qualification such as TOGAF.
