As an Enterprise Architect, you will:

• Lead the Architecture team, translating the Council’s Technology Strategy into detailed designs and actionable plans.
• Drive a Cloud First approach, delivering efficiencies across infrastructure and services.
• Lead simplification of the Council’s Network and WAN architecture to improve resilience and performance.
• Provide strategic readiness and planning for Local Government Reorganisation (LGR).
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmaps, covering current, future, and transitional states.
• Provide architectural leadership across programmes and projects, ensuring consistency and innovation.

What we're looking for:

• Significant experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives in large or complex organisations.
• Proven ability to shape architecture strategy and deliver efficiencies through optimisation.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning skills.
• Honours degree or equivalent experience, with a professional qualification such as TOGAF.
