About the Role:


Sapphire Utility Solutions are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Administrator that will be based in our office Bamber Bridge. 


Location: Bamber Bridge

Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 Hours per week. (8am - 16:30pm)

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000k


Responsibilities – but not limited to:

  • Responsible for producing high level reports for board regarding statistics and figures of 
    incidents from the previous month.
  • Monitoring of adhoc health and safety system of incoming near misses and incidents and the 
    dispersal of these incidents to site managers/ relevant parties as and when required.
  • Recording of figures and categorisation of near misses for trend analysis.
  • Coordinating responses to incidents and trends in data to help reduce chance of incidents 
    recurring.
  • Ordering of equipment including the raising of purchase orders.
  • Coordination of new projects for the health and safety department and the rolling out of new 
    software changes to the health and safety computer system,
  • Reporting of incidents to clients and updating them once investigations have been complete
    and what outcomes have been agreed.
  • Liaising with software controller to improve and modernise adhoc system, and act as a first 
    line of computer support for operatives experiencing issues with the system.

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

  • Health and safety qualification would be highly advantageous
  • Previous HSEQ experience within either the civils / utilities or construction environment would be beneficial
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise in a busy, changing environment
  • Team player with an ability to build good working relationships across all levels of personnel
