Join a small tax team within a leading accountancy practice, based in Preston. The role is operating across a Personal Tax client portfolio and the work is technically interesting and varied. We are looking for an additional team member with Tax experience who will relish and enjoy the opportunities to build relationships with a diverse range of clients and develop teams to support them. Many of our clients are long term and highly valued customers.
We are open to - Personal Tax, Tax Assistant, Tax Adviser, Tax Senior level of candidate in this newly created position.
Flexible Hours: Full & Part Time up to 37 hours per week.
Hybrid option after probation period. (2 days / 3 days
Our client has empowered flexible working, therefore full / part time / hybrid hours are available.
24.5 days holiday + Bank holidays
Healthcare, Pension, Death in Service scheme
A competitive salary is on offer, circa 30-42k per annum - negotiable dependent upon experience
What your days will look like:
• You will be responsible for building close relationships with a wide range of clients and working as part of a small team to deliver the firm’s personal tax services.
• You will have a key role in shaping your portfolio and building strong lasting relationships.
• You will help solve the tax issues of individuals and business owners and manage self-assessment queries.
• You will be able to put into practice your tax technical skills with some great clients.
• There will also be opportunities to develop deeper knowledge in particular areas of interest.
• The role will be both varied and challenging and will provide significant opportunities to develop your career.
We are looking for a self starter with hands on experience within personal tax. If you have leadership capabilities, there is also an opportunity to manage a small team.
The Role is for you if:
• You have hands on Personal Tax experience. CTA is not a pre-requisite for the role.
• You have gained personal tax or a blend of personal and corporate tax advisory experience.
• You will need strong analytical skills and a flexible approach, combined with the ability to work as part of a number of client teams simultaneously.
• You will have experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
